A clothing alterations invoice PDF works best when every amount can be traced to a particular garment and an agreed alteration. “Tailoring services” may be accurate, but it is not enough detail for an order containing several trousers, a dress and a jacket.

The total is (2 × 18) + 35 + 12 = USD 83. Because the replacement zip is included in the USD 35 charge, it should not appear again as a separate material cost. If the agreed arrangement prices labour and materials separately, use that arrangement consistently instead.

Handle fittings and urgent work clearly

Say whether fitting appointments form part of the alteration price or are separately chargeable. Avoid charging for a fitting again when it was included in the accepted price. For a revised design requested after approval, keep a record of the changed work and the agreed additional amount.

A rush charge should have a clear purpose, such as completion by an agreed collection date. Confirm it before accepting the urgent job. Where several garments belong to one rush order, make it clear whether the charge applies once to the order or individually to each garment.

Move from the agreed price to the finished invoice
